This is truly a nice little barn find. Two owner, 69,703 Original and Documented miles and best of all, a very nice straight body and 99% original car. The second owner converted the newer A/C set up since its boiling hot in Florida and it blows very cold. It comes equipped with power windows, power locks, internal mirror adjustment, tilt wheel and delay wipers. The interior of this car (seats, carpet, dash board and almost everything) is a 9 out of 10 perfect! Very rare can you find an all original interior in this condition and the only reason the car is 99% original is because the stereo was changed out. Body of this car is 9.5 out of 10 condition. I have pointed out all the blemishes on the video posted on YouTube including a full walk around and car starting up.

Here is a list of things done to El Camino and what I have finished in the last couple of weeks:

Done Before I Purchased:

*Converted AC

*Tinted Windows

*Oil Changed

*Exhaust Replaced

*FM/AM/CD/AUX Stereo

Completed Since I purchased:

*Brand New Tires 4 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T 215/70/14 / mounted/balanced $660.00

*Full Tune Up (plugs, cap/rotor)

*Full Charge of AC

*New Rear Brakes

*Complete Detail with Coating (video will show how clean and straight body is)

*New Front Chevy Hood Ornament

*New Chevy Front License Plate (GM Original)

Things To Still Finish:

*Steering Box - I tried my best to get it as good as possible but it will need a new one in the next 2000-5000 miles for better handling. (Remanufactured one $115-125 cost and new one $345)

*Shocks (all 4) - Florida weather and them being if not original then close need to be replaced for better handling and ride. Show rust.

*Fix the Windshield Washer Tube - (does not release water)

*Adjust or Replace Tach (please see video)

This car truly didn't need much outside of a complete go through and some tlc. I have myself put about 450 plus miles and was driving it as a daily until I got it professionally detailed ($450) and put it away in my barn for the next owner to enjoy. You will not be disappointed with the overall condition of a car that is 35 years old and still drives and looks like this. This was the last and final year of an American Classic and with the stupid prices on everything now that has a million miles and beat to crap and these sellers who asking astronomical prices, this beauty is a steal at this price being almost 100% original and numbers matching and you can drive everyday or just to car shows and weekends!
